Anniversary of Hung Kings’ death celebrated nationwide
VOV.VN - Many localities across the country celebrated the anniversary of the death of the Hung Kings on April 25 (the tenth day of the third lunar month) to respectfully remember the merits of the country’s ancestors and to show their deep gratitude to the founders of the nation.
Local leaders and citizens offered Chung cakes and Day cakes, as well as local specialties such as com lam (bamboo-tube rice), Dak Ha coffee, and medicinal herbs to Hung Kings.
On the occasion, disadvantaged pupils with excellent academic records were presented with Hung Vuong scholarships.

A wide range of activities, such as a contest to make Chung cake, a book festival, a photo exhibition, folk games, and performances of martial arts, drumming, and dragon dances were organised at the park on the day.
Together with people nationwide, Nghe An held a ceremony to mark the anniversary of the death of the Hung Kings at Hong Son Temple on April 25.
From the early morning, many local people and visitors arrived at the temple to offer incense and flowers to commemorate the Hung Kings.
