AI and digital transformation to shape Hanoi’s fire safety expo 2026

The exhibition, slated for September 9 to 12 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace in Hanoi, will bring together government agencies, businesses, scientists and international partners in fire safety, rescue, security and safety.

More than 350 companies and organisations from 15 countries and territories are expected to introduce products, equipment and solutions for firefighting, rescue operations, security, safety and automation.

What stands out at this year’s edition is the growing role of artificial intelligence, data, digital platforms and automation in fire safety and rescue for smart buildings, factories, and urban infrastructure. Solutions on display will include video surveillance, fire protection, access control, building automation, disaster prevention, and connected safety systems.

In addition, international pavilions from Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Singapore will present the latest technologies tailored to local requirements and project specifications.

Rather than relying mainly on response after an incident occurs, the technologies on display are aimed at supporting early detection, risk forecasting and faster, more effective responses to fires, explosions, accidents and other emergencies.

An international discussion on the development of the fire safety and rescue industry will be held on the opening day, with discussions covering AI, emerging technologies, digital transformation, data and digital platforms.

These technologies are expected to strengthen the capacity of authorities to monitor risks, improve forecasting and respond to emergencies, while supporting the development of the fire safety and rescue industry together with the security sector.

The exhibition also provides opportunities for research, investment and technology transfer, allowing Vietnamese businesses and agencies to learn from international partners and explore solutions that could be applied in practice.

An outdoor experience area will showcase specialised firefighting and rescue vehicles and equipment, providing practical information on fire safety and emergency response. Visitors can learn basic skills such as first aid, using firefighting equipment and responding to fires, explosions, accidents and other emergencies.

The expo will be jointly organised by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, the Vietnam Advertisement and Fair Exhibition JSC (VIETFAIR) and Germany’s Messe Frankfurt Group.
