Managers and scientists from the nuclear power industry of the Republic of Korea (RoK) shared their knowledge in the field with their Vietnamese colleagues at a workshop in Hanoi on October 17.

The workshop, entitled "Vietnam-RoK Nuclear Power Technologies," was co-organised by the Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute under the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Energy Institute under the Ministry of Industry in coordination with the RoK Ministry of Science and Technology.

At the conference, RoK experts made presentations on important issues in a nuclear power development programme, such as policy making, plant designing, equipment manufacturing, fuel supplying and safety measures.
