Vietnam, Mongolia to do more for closer ties

Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister Dendev Terbishdagva has called on Vietnam and Mongolia to promote delegation exchange and speed up projects covering economics, trade, healthcare and culture in order to strengthen mutual trust, understanding and cooperation.

At an October reception for Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son in Ulan Bator, Deputy PM Terbishdagva said he is satisfied with the traditional friendship and cooperation with Vietnam over the past nearly 60 years, affirming that the Mongolian Government and people wish to further beef up bilateral ties in the time to come.

At the fifth deputy foreign ministerial-level political consultation meeting earlier, Deputy FM Son and his Mongolian counterpart Dambyn Giankhuyag agreed on a range of steps to cement the Vietnam-Mongolia friendship and cooperation across various domains.

They also exchanged views on regional and global issues of common concern.
