Solemn rally marks 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day
VOV.VN - A solemn rally filled with commemorative songs and artistic performances was held at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi today, July 27, to commemorate the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.

The event was cosponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Party, National Assembly, President, Government, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and city of Hanoi. |

Attending the ceremony were Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, NA Chair Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, along with Chair of the VFF and Central Committee, Tran Thanh Man. |

Other attendees include mothers, family members and friends of heroic Vietnamese soldiers who sacrificed in defense of the country as well as hundreds of soldiers wounded during the war. |
