RoK naval ships visit Danang city
VOV.VN - Destroyer Moon Mu The Great and fast combat support ship ROKS Hwacheon of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Navy docked at Tien Sa port on September 7, starting their three-day visit to the central city of Danang.
The ships, carrying 633 officers and sailors, are led by Rear Admiral Yang Minsoo.
This is the first visit to Vietnam by RoK naval ships this year and it takes place at a time when the relations between the two nations as well as their defence links have seen constant development.
The visit is also part of activities to materialize the agreement between the two states and defence ministries, helping to deepen the bilateral defence ties.
During their stay, the RoK guests are due to make a courtesy visit to leaders of the municipal People’s Committee and Naval Region 3 High Command, participate in cross- cultural exchange, and visit a number tourist destinations in the city.
