NA leader meets Czech associations’ representatives

VOV.VN - On April 12, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan met leaders of the Czech Chamber of Economy, Czech Top 100 Association and a beer firm as part of her ongoing visit to the European nation.

The Vietnamese top legislator expressed her hope that Czech associations will encourage businesses to run investments in Vietnam and briefed them on Vietnam’s legal system toward international integration as well as the country’s favourable position for investors to expand their operation to the region.

She affirmed Vietnam's willing to act as a bridge for Czech businesses to expand to other markets in Southeast Asia and Asia.

Sharing Ngan’s share on economic and trade relationship, Vice President of the Czech Chamber of Economy Borivoj Minar said many Czech firms and associations visited and sought opportunities for investment and business in Vietnam in recent times.

The Czech Republic is an open market and the Czech Chamber of Economy is ready to help bring Vietnamese commodities to the European market, Borivoj Minar said, noting that he hopes more Czech products are sold in the Southeast Asian market in the time to come.

Czech businesses are desirous of cooperating and transferring technology to produce goods that are the Czech Republic’s strength such as manufacturing industry and farm produce preservation, he added.
