Laos, Vietnam bolster cooperation in propaganda and mass mobilization
VOV.VN - Amid a string of prominent joint communication activities marking major national holidays, Vietnam and Laos have stepped up the dissemination of their special solidarity across media platforms.
As part of Party General Secretary To Lam and his spouse’s state visit and participation in the 50th anniversary of the National Day of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, on the afternoon of December 1 at the headquarters of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party, Head of the Central Commission for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Trinh Van Quyet met with Head of the Central Propaganda and Training Commission Khamphanh Pheuiyavong.
During the meeting, both sides discussed enhancing information exchange, particularly on theoretical and practical issues arising in each country’s reform, development, and international integration efforts.
They also identified major current topics of mutual interest and agreed that following each country’s Party Congress, a new cooperation plan will be developed to cover key areas and priorities, thus further improving the quality of coordination.
Recent collaborative communication efforts have helped widely promote the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos through various media, especially social media platforms, thus enhancing mutual understanding between the peoples of both countries.
“On this occasion, Khamphanh Pheuiyavong proposed Vietnam continue deminating its experience in disseminating the Party and State’s policies to the people.
Laos also expressed its desire for continued support from Vietnam in strengthening the capacity of officials in managing public information, contributing to political and social stability and facilitating the country’s development objectives.
