General Secretary and President To Lam chairs regular Politburo meeting

The top Vietnamese leader assessed that the Politburo and the Secretariat have closely followed the entire programme of the Party Central Committee to organise many conferences in flexible forms, both in person and online, as part of efforts to effectively implement the Resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress.

The Party Central Committee's Office, Party Committees, relevant agencies, and organizations have co-ordinated well in carrying out activities, while the implementation of documents and conclusions of the Politburo and the Secretariat have also obtained effective results, To Lam  said.

However, there remains a lot of work remaining in the Politburo and Secretariat's Work Program from now until the end of the year. Issues and areas related to the preparation for the 14th National Party Congress must be finalized ahead in 2025, the year of fulfilling the goals set by the 13th National Party Congress.

General Secretary and President To Lam therefore requested that the Politburo focus on dealing with the group of projects for submission to the 10th Party Central Conference and subsequent the Party Central Committee’s conferences, as well as the group of projects that need to be focused on to create momentum for socio-economic development, thereby improving people's lives.

He also underlined the need to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles faced by localities and businesses, as well as ensuring socio-political stability.

The Politburo therefore needs to adopt decisive policies for arising issues with the motto "national, and people's interests come first and foremost".
