Azerbaijan ambassador awarded Vietnam’s Friendship Order
VOV.VN - Azerbaijan ambassador to Vietnam Anar Imanov has been awarded Vietnam’s Friendship Order in recognition of his contribution to the two countries’ friendship.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs To Anh Dung, on behalf of the Vietnamese Party and State, presented the Order to the Azerbaijan diplomat at a ceremony in Hanoi on September 4.
Addressing the event, Dung noted that the traditionally friendly relations between Vietnam and Azerbaijan have flourished in recent times. He appreciated the Ambassador’s positive contributions to Vietnam over the past seven years, which he said helped strengthen the traditional friendship and fine cooperation between the two countries.
For his part, ambassador Anar Imanov thanked the Vietnamese ministries and agencies for their close collaboration during his 7-year term in the country, and vowed to do his utmost to promote the friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the future.
