Documents sent to 13th Party Congress under discussion on third working day

VOV.VN - Delegates attending the 13th National Party Congress on January 27, the third working day of the event, are set to spent the entire day discussing contents mentioned within the draft documents submitted to the Congress.

The draft documents serve to underline the vision and development goals, including a number of important milestones, with the nation striving to become a developing country with a modern industry, thereby surpassing low-middle income status by 2025. In addition, there are also ambitions to become a developing nation with a modern industry and a high-average income status by 2030, and a developed socialist country with a high-income status by 2045.

Previously during the opening session on January 26, the second working day of the event, delegates heard Party and State leaders deliver opening remarks and present a report prepared by the 12th Party Central Committee regarding documents to be summited at the 13th National Party Congress. Besides, a report aimed at reviewing the leadership and direction of the 12th Party Central Committee was also presented.

General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong emphasized the positive results achieved by the country in recent years, with the nation’s position and power rapidly improving internationally.
