Vietnam supports peace process on Korean Peninsula
VOV.VN - Vietnam supports peace, stability, cooperation and development on the Korean Peninsula, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam said at a regular press briefing in Hanoi on June 9.
Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said Vietnam backs concerned parties’ efforts to promote dialogue and work toward the goal of denuclearization and building a lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Within its capabilities, Vietnam will continue to make active contributions to the process of promoting dialogue, cooperation and reconciliation on the Korean peninsula, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, said Hang.
Vietnam has established the traditional friendly relationship with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the strategic cooperation partnership with the Republic of Korea.
