Vietnam sends condolences over India bridge collapse
VOV.VN - State President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on October 31 sent condolences to Indian President Droupadi Murmu over the collapse of a bridge in the state of Gurajat with many people killed and injured.
On the same day, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also sent condolences to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the tragedy.
A nearly 100-year-old suspension bridge over the Machchhu River in Gujarat collapsed on October 30, killing more than 140 people. Many are injured and missing, according to local police.
About 400 people were on the bridge to celebrate a Diwali religious ritual when it collapsed.
