Vietnam extends condolences over bloody school shooting in Thailand

VOV.VN - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on October 6 sent his condolences to his Thai counterpart Prayut Chan-o-cha over a mass stabbing and shooting one day earlier that killed dozens of people, including many children.

The same day, Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son also cabled a message of condolence to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand Don Pramudwinai.

Thailand was shocked after a former policeman attacked a daycare centre in the north on October 6 with a knife and a gun, killing 34 people, including 23 children.

The ex-policeman also shot dead his wife and child at home, and committed suicide, reported Thai media outlets.
