Poland to promote all-round cooperation with Vietnam

VOV.VN - Poland supports and desires to strengthen all-round cooperation with Vietnam, Polish President Andrzei Duda told newly accredited ambassador Nguyen Hung in Warsaw on September 15.

Receiving Hung’s credentials, President Duda recalled his successful visit to Vietnam in 2017 and congratulated the tremendous development achievements Vietnam has made over the years.

He spoke highly of the positive developments in the friendship and cooperative relations between Vietnam and Poland over the past seven decades, while acknowledging the significant contributions made by the Vietnamese community in Poland to local socio-economic development.

For his part, Ambassador Hung affirmed that Poland is Vietnam’s important partner in Central Europe, noting that both countries hold great potential for stronger cooperation, especially after the European Union – Vietnam Free Trade Agreement took effect last August.

He thanked the Polish President and Government for creating favourable conditions for Vietnamese people to reside and integrate into the local community.  

He vow to work closely with the Polish Ambassador to Vietnam to bring cooperation between the two countries to new heights, for the benefit of the two peoples and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
