PM Pham Minh Chinh begins Europe tour, attends WEF Davos 2025
VOV.VN - A high-ranking delegation of Vietnam led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse left Hanoi on January 15 afternoon, beginning a working trip to Europe where they will also attend the 55th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
Chinh is being accompanied by a number of ministers in charge of investment, trade, science-technology, education-training, labour, and health.
During the week-long trip, he will visit Poland and the Czech Republic and engage in various activities at WEF Davos 2025, including bilateral meetings with leaders of participating countries.
The working trip reflects Vietnam’s commitment to expanding and strengthening its relations and cooperation with European countries. Through high-level meetings, the Prime Minister aims to deepen political, economic, and cultural ties with European partners, thus fostering sustainable and diversified cooperation between Vietnam and those countries.
Attending WEF Davos provides an opportunity to showcase Vietnam’s potential and policies for foreign investors, while exploring new markets and partnerships in technology, renewable energy, finance, and sustainable development.
