Australian Prime Minister to visit Vietnam in early June
VOV.VN - Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will pay an official visit to Vietnam on June 3-4 at the invitation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
He is scheduled to hold talks with his Vietnamese counterpart, and meet with senior Vietnamese leaders to promote bilateral cooperation in various areas, including economy-trade-investment, education, climate, energy and the environment.
Vietnam is an increasingly important economic and strategic partner for Australia in Southeast Asia, an area of focus for the Albanese Government, according to the Australian Embassy in Hanoi.
This is Albanese’s first official visit to Vietnam. This year, both countries are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic ties.
