Congratulations to China on 73rd National Day

VOV.VN - Leaders of the Vietnamese Party, State, Government, and National Assembly (NA) have extended messages of congratulations to their Chinese counterparts as part of the 73rd National Day of China on October 1.

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and Chairman of the NA Vuong Dinh Hue sent congratulatory messages to the Chinese side. This includes warm messages to General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and President of China Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Li Zhanshu.

In their messages, the Vietnamese leaders outlined their respect for the socio-economic achievements recorded by the Chinese Party, State, and people over the past 73 years.

They expressed their belief that under the leadership of the CPC with Party General Secretary and President Xi at its core, the Chinese people will continue to stay united and accomplish goals and tasks set by the CPC, thereby contributing to build China into a modern socialist country with prosperity, democracy, civilization, harmonisation, and beauty.

They went on to affirm that the Party, State, and people of Vietnam place great importance on consolidating and developing friendly ties and comprehensive co-operation with the Chinese Party, State, and people.

Indeed, the Vietnamese side stands ready together with China to strengthen political trust and deepen ties in various areas toward developing the joint comprehensive strategic co-operative partnership in a stable and healthy manner, thereby bring practical benefits to the two peoples, contributing to peace, stability, co-operation, and development in the region and the wider world.

As part of the occasion of the upcoming 20th National Congress of the CPC, they expressed hope that the Congress would be a success, opening up a new road for the revolutionary cause of the Chinese Party, State, and people.

As part of the occasion, Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son offered a congratulatory message to Chinese State Councillor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
