The fourth congress of the Vietnam - Indonesia Friendship Association takes place at the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) headquarters in Hanoi on October 27 via both in-person and online formats. The event draws the participation of Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam Denny Abdi, numerous VOV leaders, and representatives of relevant ministries, departments, and Vietnamese organisations, individuals, and businesses which have relations with Indonesia.

Nguyen Dang Tien, the former VOV president and president of the Vietnam-Indonesia Friendship Association during the 2015 to 2020 term, highlights the close relationship between both countries in the recent past. He also affirms the association’s contributions to deepening mutual understanding and reinforcing solidarity between the two sides.

In his role as vice president of VOV, Hung is elected as new president othe Vietnam-Indonesia Friendship Association during the 2021 to 2026 term. He expresses his sincere thanks to the support shown by the Indonesian embassy to the association’s activities, voicing his hope that both sides will keep on holding joint activities in order to reinforce friendship moving forward.
