VOV.VN - Thousands of university students in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City returned to school on February 14 after months of studying online amid the country’s ongoing COVID-19 fight.

The National Economics University is one of the first in the capital to hold in-person classes from February 14.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son gives li xi (lucky money) and extends lunar New Year greetings to both students and lecturers at the university. He also encourages them to implement COVID-19 prevention measures in order to ensure safety at school.

All students are required to complete healthcare declarations. Those coming from other localities must undergo COVID-19 testing before entering the school. There’s also a private area in the dormitory for students who test positive the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
