Take-away services mandatory for all eateries surrounding hospitals in Hanoi

VOV.VN - Owners of eateries located close to hospitals throughout the capital city will only be permitted to do take-away services, with this regulation set to be strictly implementing as part of the Health Ministry’s additional COVID-19 prevention and control measures.

Over recent days the number of positive COVID-19 cases related to outbreaks at K Hospital’s Tan Trieu facility and the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases have increased. Therefore, the administration of Hanoi requests the temporarily suspension of non-essential services. Most notably, eateries who are situated close to hospitals must now only run take-away services.

Scenes of deserted restaurants can be spotted on streets located near Thanh Nhan, Viet Duc, Bach Mai, and 108 Hospitals. This comes after some eateries have been forced to close in order to prevent the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
