The Vietnamese swimmers receive a gold medal in the men’s 4x200m freestyle relay. Elsewhere, Malaysia wins a silver medal with a time of seven minutes and 19.75 seconds, and Singapore bags a bronze medal after clocking a time of seven minutes 21.49 seconds.

The same day also sees Vietnamese swimmers bring home two more silver medals in the men’s 200m breaststroke and 100m butterfly events, as well as one bronze medal in the women’s freestyle 400m competition.
