The festival consists of eight major programmes, along with 34 art performances held on 11 stages in Thua Thien-Hue province from June 25 to June 30.

These major programmes serve to attract many visitors to the event, including 10,000 arrivals who came to enjoy the opening ceremony, 12,000 guests at the “Colours of Culture” street festival, and 25,000 visitors to art performances put on by local and foreign art troupes.

The festival helps to recover tourism industry in Thua Thien-Hue province. From June 23 to June 30 the province receives a total of 180,000 arrivals, with tourism revenue reaching roughly VND155 billion.
