The two-kilometre train street starts from Le Duan street, passes through Tran Phu and Cua Dong street, before ending at Phung Hung street. The train street is one of the most famous tourist spots in the capital, attracting crowds of domestic and foreign visitors. In October, 2019, all of the coffee shops along the railway line were forced to shut to ensure traffic safety and fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Coffee shops based along the railway line reopened for business one week ago. The majority of visitors to the area are foreigners. These unique coffee shops quickly become a must-visit spot for visitors to Hanoi. In order to reopen, coffee shops must pledge to conform to railway safety regulations, meaning that they can only operate indoor services. As a means of keeping tourists safe, signs are placed along the railway line. A coffee shop owner says that the train street is less exciting than before as people must follow safety regulations.
