Fresh lychee shipments to China up from last year

(VOV) - Roughly 5,384 tonnes of fresh lychee valued at US$850,374 were exported to China via the Tan Thanh border gate over the past 20 days.

Phung Quang Hoi, head of the Tan Thanh Border Gate Custom Department, said on June 10 that the border gate began to make custom procedures for fresh litchi exported to China as of May 20.

Most of the product was shipped to Guangxi province, China.

Hoang Khanh Hoa, head of the Lang Son Province Custom Department, said his department had directed relevant agencies to create a niche for businesses and streamline custom procedures to facilitate fresh litchi exports to China.
