Saigon Hi-tech Park attracts two new projects
(VOV) - The management board of the Saigon Hi-tech Park (SHTP) on December 17 granted investment licences to two new investors in the global supply chain of Samsung Electronics.
The first project, capitalizing at US$32 million and specializing in the production of heat exchangers used in refrigeration and air conditioning, is invested by Daihan Climate Control Ltd Company. After it is put into operation it will produce 2 million products a year.

The second project, with a total investment capital of US$80 million, specializes in the production of electronic equipment and IT spare parts. The investor is Intops Company. The factory’s capacity is around 6.5 million products annually.
SHTP has so far licensed five projects of one Vietnamese and four foreign businesses in the support industry.
Investors have been asked to develop R&D implementation roadmaps to spur domestic supply chains.
