Central and Central Highland trade fair opens
(VOV) - More than 140 businesses have gathered at the Central and Central Highland Trade Fair launched in Binh Dinh province’s Quy Nhon City on August 16.
The fair’s more than 300 pavilions showcase regional garments and textiles, handicrafts, household utensils, farm produce, and food.
Binh Dinh province’s Department of Industry and Trade Director Nguyen Kim Phuong said the local trade promotion initiative is also a response to the national “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods” campaign.
The Central and Central Highland regions are conducive to the agro-forestry and aquaculture industries.
Local trade fairs allow scientists and businesses to boost production, strengthen inter-industry exchange, promote trademarks, and reinvigorate the domestic consumer market.
The fair’s organising board has coordinated with a range of art troupes on a concurrent entertainment programme designed to attract more visitors.
The event will run through to August 22.
