VITW 2026 to spotlight smart manufacturing and industrial innovation
VOV.VN - More than 200 leading domestic and international companies are expected to showcase products and technologies at the Vietnam Industry and Technology Week (VITW) 2026, scheduled to take place at the Vietnam Exposition Centre (VEC) in Hanoi from September 9 to 11.
VITW 2026, to be organised by dmg events, one of the world's leading organisers of international face-to-face exhibitions and conferences, and VEC, will comprise more than 2,000 exhibition booths, with around 70,000 visitors and hundreds of international buyers and business partners expected to attend.
The exhibition will focus on technologies driving industrial transformation, including industrial robotics and automation, artificial intelligence (AI), smart factories, green energy technologies, environmentally friendly building materials, automotive manufacturing and next-generation mobility.
International technology companies will introduce industrial robots, intelligent production systems, factory automation solutions, sensors and manufacturing management technologies.
Vietnamese companies specialising in mechanical engineering, electric vehicles, supporting industries and industrial equipment manufacturing will also participate, reflecting the country's efforts to strengthen domestic manufacturing capabilities and deepen its role in global supply chains.
On display will be a modern industrial ecosystem featuring AI solutions, automation, smart factories, energy infrastructure, and green manufacturing technologies from international brands such as Neuromeka, Glassdome, INTERX, Keyence, Robot 3T, ESTEC, HELUKABEL, and Kobelco Compressors.
A highlight of this year's edition will be HANOI MIP FAIR 2026 to present key industrial products from the capital, including semiconductor, microchip, electronics and supporting industries.
In addition to the exhibition, VITW 2026 will host business matching sessions, enabling companies to connect with potential customers, distributors, investors and strategic partners from Vietnam and abroad.
The event will also include an international manufacturing industry conference, where policymakers, industry leaders and experts discuss technology transformation, supply chain restructuring, green manufacturing and strategies to enhance the competitiveness of Vietnam's industrial sector.
Companies meeting eligibility requirements will also have opportunities to showcase their products on Techmart Vietnam, the national technology marketplace operated by the State Agency for Technology and Innovation under the Ministry of Science and Technology, helping expand commercialisation opportunities for new technologies and industrial solutions.
VITW 2026 builds on the success of the 2025 edition, which evolved from the Vietnam International Industrial Fair (VIIF), with the long-term goal of becoming an annual platform linking businesses across Vietnam's industrial ecosystem.
By bringing together manufacturers, technology companies, investors, research institutions and government agencies, the event is expected to encourage innovation, facilitate technology transfer and strengthen the participation of Vietnamese enterprises in regional and global value chains.
