Vietnam Expo to open in Hanoi this April

VOV.VN - The 32nd Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo) is scheduled to get underway in Hanoi from April 5 to April 8, with the event expecting to draw over 500 businesses.

According to details given by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Company (Vinexad) as organisers of the expo, the event will feature a total of 600 pavilions run by exhibitors from 15 foreign countries and territories from across the world.

The fair will open with the theme of “Step together in a digitized world” and will be split into four exhibition zones, including international pavilions, Vietnam value and export, machinery and supporting industries, as well as digital technology and e-commerce.

This marks the first time that Poland will join in the trade fair as a special guest, with visitors having the chance to witness Polish chefs showing off their talents at their pavilion with the theme of “Tasteful EUROPE”.

Furthermore, the Korean national pavilion will also be one of the event’s main features. This year marks the 24th consecutive year that the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) has chosen Vietnam Expo to exhibit products that are considered to be the Republic of Korea’s strengths, such as beauty products and equipment, household appliances, and digital technology.

A number of conferences will be held on the sidelines of the event in order to help local enterprises gain broader access to both domestic and foreign partners.

The annual Vietnam Expo was first held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade back in 1991 and has since become a prestigious event for Vietnamese firms to introduce their products and seek partnerships.
