Trade fair in Cambodia features 50 Vietnamese booths
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Trade Fair in Cambodia 2025 opened in Phnom Penh on December 4 as part of the 18th Cambodia International Trade Expo (CTExpo), with 50 Vietnamese booths displaying key products.
The four-day event is seen as a leading trade-promotion activity for Vietnam in Cambodia with a view to helping Vietnamese firms deepen access to a neighbouring market with strong potential.
Bui Quang Hung, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade), said Vietnam’s concurrent national pavilion at CTExpo, a premier trade event in Cambodia, provides “a boost” for businesses to promote brands, seek partners and boost market expansion.
This year’s Vietnam pavilion features 50 booths showcasing key product lines, including agricultural products and foodstuffs, beverages, consumer goods, construction materials, plastic products, fertilizers and veterinary medicines. Several major Vietnamese brands continue to capture attention from Cambodian consumers, such as Hoa Phat Steel, Mikado Bricks, Quang Ngai Sugar, and Bich Chi Food.
Cambodia, with a population of nearly 18 million and rapidly growing consumer demand, remains a stable export market with huge potential for Vietnamese goods.
Bilateral trade between Vietnam and Cambodia has maintained positive growth, and Vietnamese products are favoured by Cambodian consumers for their competitive prices, consistent quality and improving designs.
