SeABank rated as Best Bank in Vietnam 2022
VOV.VN - The Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank) has been named the Best Bank in Vietnam 2022 by UK-based The Banker magazine following its outstanding performance in the banking sector.
SeABank is the only Vietnamese bank to win the award for three times.
The bank is also one of 22 typical banks in the Asia-Pacific region to be honoured in the Bank of the Year award system of The Banker magazine.
The other institutions to make the list are Agricultural Bank of China, Standard Chartered in Hong Kong (China) and Bangladesh, OCBC NISP in Indonesia, ICBC in Macau (China), SBS Bank in New Zealand, Hana Bank in the Republic of Korea, and Siam Commercial Bank in Thailand.
The Banker evaluates more than 300 banks and non-banking retail financial service organisations in more than 42 countries to determine the winner of this award.
SeABank was selected based on various assessments of its financial indicators, business scale, network, and banking services, in addition to its contributions to the local financial market.
Previously, in 2013 and 2021, SeABank received the Best Bank in Vietnam title. In August, 2022, The Banker selected SeABank to be among the Top 1,000 World Banks.
The Banker is an English-language monthly international financial affairs publication owned by The Financial Times Ltd. and edited in London in the UK. The magazine was first published in January 1926.
The Bank of the Year Awards is an annual awards event which recognises the top financial institutions around the world.
