Reference exchange rate up four VND
The reference exchange rate for Vietnamese dong against the US dollar was announced at VND21,952 per USD for October 4 morning, up VND1 from the day before.

With the current +/- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is VND22,610 per USD and the floor rate is VND21,293 per USD.
The rates listed by commercial banks remained unchanged at the first opening hour. At 8:25 am, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) posted buying and selling prices at VND22,265 and 22,335 per US dollar, unchanged compared to October 3.
The rates at the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) were at 22,270-22,340 VND/USD (buying/selling), the same as the day before.
At the Vietnam Import-Export Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank), one USD is being bought at VND22,255 and sold at VND22,335, unchanged compared to October 3.
The Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) also kept the buying/selling rates unchanged from the day before, at VND22,250 – 22,340 (buying/selling) per USD.
