Reference exchange rate down by VND1
The State Bank of Vietnam adjusted its reference VND/USD exchange rate on August 11 down by VND1 from August 10 to VND22,442/USD.

With the current /- 3% VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is VND23,115 per USD and the floor rate is VND21,769 per USD.
Major commercial banks’ opening hour rates are stable.
Vietcombank offered VND22,695 (buying) and VND22,765 (selling), per USD, unchanged from the opening hour of the day ago.
BIDV also set the same rates as Vietcombank’s, with VND22,695 (buying) and VND22,765 (selling), per USD.
Vietinbank set its buying and selling rates at VND22,705 and VND22,775, per USD, up VND15 from the day ago.
