Petrol prices unchanged in latest adjustment

VOV.VN - Petrol prices were kept unchanged as of 3 p.m. on January 11 following the latest adjustment made by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The capped retail price of E5 RON 92 stayed at VND21,350 per litre, while that of RON 95-III remained at VND22,150 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel oil was reduced by VND520 to VND21,630 per litre, whilst that of kerosene dropped by VND960 to VND21,800 per litre.

Elsewhere, the prices of mazut oil decreased by VND380 to VND13,360 per kilogram.

The two ministries also decided to make use of VND103 per litre from the petrol price stabilisation fund for RON 95-III, as well as VND121 per litre being used for E5 RON 92.

This marks the third adjustment made since the beginning of this year. Petrol prices were initially adjusted from midnight on January 1 due to a new environmental protection tax rate being applied to petrol and oil for 2023.

Retail petrol prices climbed to reach a new peak on January 3 and remained unchanged on January 11.
