Petrol prices see slight rise in latest price adjustment

VOV.VN - The retail prices of petrol and oil continued to witness an increase at 3 p.m. on April 27 due to the latest price review conducted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

Most notably, the price of E5 RON92 biofuel recorded an increase of VND182 to a maximum price of VND17,988 per litre, whilst RON95 rose by VND191 to no more than VND19,161 per litre.

Since November 11, 2020, the price of bio-fuel E5 RON 92 has seen a climb of VND4,103 per litre, whilst RON95’s price has gradually inched up by VND4,460 per litre.

The current petrol prices are at their highest levels for around one year and two months.

Meanwhile, the ceiling prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene were set at no more than VND14,328 and VND13,259 per litre, representing rises of VND187 and VND432 per litre, respectively.

Moreover, the price of mazut 180CST 3.5S inched up by VND336 per kilogram to reach VND14,023 per kilogram.

Both the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance are reviewing and adjusting domestic petrol and oil retail prices every 15 days on a par with global market fluctuations.
