Noi Bai Airport to resume sleep pod service

The Ministry of Transport has allowed the Vietnam Airlines Tourism Company to resume the first-ever sleep pod service at Noi Bai International Airport from on October 7.

According to the ministry's document No 12301/BGTVT-VT, the Vietnam Airlines Tourism Company can resume the service, which was suspended on July 25, just three days after it was launched.

The ministry said that the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, which ordered the suspension, has also agreed to the resumption of the service.

Thus, 14 sleep pods, measuring four square metres in area and three metres high, will offer passengers fully equipped private space with free drinks and snacks on the third floor of T1 in the airport.
