Labor Hero title bestowed upon PetroVietnam
VOV.VN - On April 3, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended a ceremony to grant the Labor Hero title to the PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation in Hanoi.
He glowingly spoke of the sector’s position in the petroleum industry and Vietnam’s economy while urging the Corporation to adopt a long-term vision to develop in par with the international level.
“It’s important to focus on training human resources and improve the cultural and material lives of the workers. Important tasks include exploring new gas resources, upgrading the infrastructure such as ports, logistics, and pipelines to form a national network,” he said.
Deputy PM Phuc visited the construction work on the new Ghenh bridge across the Dong Nai River in the southern province of Dong Nai.
He asked the Ministry of Construction, the Vietnam Railway Corporation, and Dong Nai province to accelerate the construction progress to reconnect the north-south railway while ensuring construction safety and quality.
