Ho Chi Minh City conference connects Russian and Vietnamese businesses
VOV.VN - The Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, alongside Russian partners, will host the Vietnam - Russia Business Networking Conference on August 5, expected to gather over 100 enterprises from both nations.
The event, part of the 2026 National Trade Promotion Program, is co-organized by VIETRADE, the Moscow Export Center (MEC), and the Center for Support and Development of Industrial Export (MOSPROM) to strengthen economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.
The Vietnamese delegation will feature leaders from VIETRADE, relevant agencies, and industry associations, together with representatives from over 100 reputable trading, manufacturing, and import-export companies with extensive international market experience.
On the Russian side, participants include officials from the Embassy and Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Vietnam, the Russian Export Center, MEC, MOSPROM, the Russian Ministries of Agriculture and Trade, and the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Bank.
At the conference, Vietnamese businesses will have the opportunity to pitch their products, services, and potential to Russia, a key traditional European partner. Primary areas of collaboration focus on agriculture and seafood, textiles, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), energy, oil and gas, and direct investment. Industry experts will also share market trends and prospective opportunities, alongside direct B2B matchmaking sessions designed to help companies find partners and sign agreements on the spot.
According to the organizers, the conference serves as a platform for enterprises to build long-term partnerships, enhancing competitiveness and supporting sustainable growth amid expanding bilateral relations.
