Hanoi to host Expo-Russia Vietnam 2022
VOV.VN - The Expo-Russia Vietnam 2022 is scheduled to run from December 7 to 9 in Hanoi to enhance trade connectivity between Vietnamese and Russian enterprises.
The event will be part of the trade promotion programme sponsored by the Russian Government, with the ultimate aim of strengthening economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and political cooperation between the two countries.
It will also provide an ideal platform for Vietnamese businesses to seek investment opportunities with nearly 100 Russian businesses from 10 regions across the Eastern European country.
This year is the fourth consecutive time that the expo has been held in Hanoi that focuses on major industries, including energy, machinery, metallurgy, chemicals, oil and gas, transportation, agro-industrial complex, information technology, and mining.
The expo is expected to further accelerate trade and investment ties, and at the same time diversify forms of economic cooperation as well as expand markets for businesses of both countries.
Several regions in Russia have already registered to participate in the event, including Kaluga, Leningrad, Primorsky, the Republic of Mari El, the Republic of Udmurtia, and Moscow.
Moreover, seminars will be held during the expo to discuss topics on construction, energy, transportation, science and education, medicine and pharmaceuticals, as well as agriculture.
