The Hanoi-Me Linh brewery was built on an area of more than 264,000m2 by joint contractors Krones AG from Germany, the Vietnam Machinery Erection Corporation (Lilama) and Royal Haskoning Vietnam, with a total investment capital of VND2,000 billion. It is the largest and most modern brewery in Southeast Asia.

The project is to mark the 1,000^th anniversary of Hanoi.
