First Tops Market makes debut in Hanoi
VOV.VN - Central Retail of Thailand successfully completed the transformation of Big C Ha Dong and Big C Nguyen Xien supermarkets into the first Tops Market locations in Hanoi on October 1.
The move aims to anticipate new shopping trends and accelerate economic recovery as the nation moves into the post COVID-19 pandemic period.
Tops Market supermarket chain has been designed in order to meet three criteria, including fresh and diverse organic foods, a clear product origin, and dedicated customer service.
Moving forward, Hanoi’s Big C Le Trong Tan supermarket is expected to change into Tops Market ahead of October 7, while Big C The Garden is also on track to change as soon as possible.
Nguyen Thi Bich Van, communications director of Central Retail Vietnam, a unit in charge of managing the GO!, Big C, and the Tops Market supermarket chain, revealed that Central Retail Vietnam previously completed the conversion of three Big C supermarkets in Ho Chi Minh City into Tops Market in early March.
The transformation of the group’s retail model is set to offer new and modern shopping experiences to customers while also contributing to the overall development of the Vietnamese retail industry, Van emphasized.
As part of the occasion, the Tops Market system will offer discounts of between 20% and 40% at four supermarkets across Hanoi from October 7 to October 20 on fresh products and imported food items.
