DITP launches new round of S.O.S program

The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) has held a media event to announce its “Smart Online SMEs Plus (S.O.S)” project with Director-General Chantira Yimrewat Wiwatrat chairing the announcement.

The project is a continuation of the success of the DITP’s effort last year and will this year see the department focus on expanding trade opportunities for Thai businesses with an emphasis on SMEs.

The focus this year will be on assisting small businesses to trade online with foreign buyers to draw revenue into the Kingdom while also making trade with Thailand a viable option.

The project will develop as an event taking place in both Bangkok and the provinces. In the capital, the event will take place at the New Enterprise Associates (NEA) this March 19-22 with a Chiang Mai session to kick off on March 27 and a Khon Kaen session to start March 29.

Entrepreneurs interested in taking part can visit www.thaitrade.com/SOSPlus or contact the DITP through its hotline 1169 or its office at 02 507 7825.
