This has pushed the number of newly-established enterprises in the first quarter of the year nationwide to 13,200, with a total registered capital of VND89.3 trillion.

The registered capital in the first quarter of the year increased by 5.3 percent compared to the same period last year, while the number of newly established enterprises declined by 31.2 percent.

Ho Chi Minh City had 5,000 newly established enterprises with a total capitalisation of VND27 trillion during the first quarter of the year.
