Chinese airlines, tour operators survey tourism market in Khanh Hoa
VOV.VN - Chinese airlines and travel operators joined a business networking programme in the south- central coastal province of Khanh Hoa, on July 16 as part of the 2026 famtrip programme aimed at expanding tourism cooperation.
The programme was jointly organized by the Khanh Hoa Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centre and Cam Ranh International Terminal JSC, with nearly 50 representatives from travel businesses in Khanh Hoa, Chinese airlines and Chinese tour operators taking part.
The Chinese delegation, including representatives of 9 Air, West Air, Spring Airlines and several tour operators, visited Khanh Hoa from July 13 to 18 to survey accommodation facilities, tourist attractions and tourism products. The delegation also assessed the potential for expanding direct air routes and developing tour programmes to the province.
During the programme, tourism businesses in Khanh Hoa met with Chinese airlines and tour operators to discuss market demand, introduce tourism products, establish direct business contacts and explore opportunities to develop tourism services for the Chinese market.
Truong Van Tien, Director of the Khanh Hoa Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centre, said the famtrip gave airlines, tour operators and other partners an opportunity to experience the province's tourism products and services directly.
According to the centre, about 8,000 direct flights have connected localities in China with Khanh Hoa since the beginning of 2025. The networking event is expected to expand cooperation between the two sides, attract more Chinese visitors and improve the operation of international air routes to Khanh Hoa.
