524 enterprises honoured with ‘High-Quality Vietnamese Goods’ title
VOV.VN - As many as 524 enterprises operating across various sectors were presented with the ‘High-Quality Vietnamese Goods 2022’ title at a ceremony held in Ho Chi Minh City on March 22.
The winning firms span a wide range of industries, including confectionery, fresh food, dairy products and beverages, cosmetics, textiles and garments, leather, pharmaceuticals, and ceramics.
Some of the honour recipients are Vinamit JSC, Asia Bakey-Confectionery JSC, Acecook Vietnam JSC, Vietnam Dairy Products JSC, Phu Nhuan Jewelry JSC, and DHG Pharmaceutical JSC.
Vu Kim Hanh, chairwoman of the High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Business Association, said the list sees new products receiving the One Commune One Product (OCOP) certification, to recognise their effort in improving product and service quality. It also helps to boost their overall competiveness, operation efficiency, and integration into the global economy as a whole.
With the ‘High-Quality Vietnamese Goods 2022’ title, Vietnamese agricultural enterprises will have a greater chance to integrate into the world market, Hanh added.
The event is held annually by the Business Association of High-Quality Vietnamese Products. The honour recipients were voted for by consumers through a survey held from November 2021 to January 2022.
The survey was conducted by more than 100 interviewers nationwide, in addition to 30 regional managers and supervisors. In total, 13,648 survey questionnaires were carried out, with 2,830 enterprises named in all product groups.
