20th Vietnam International Trade Fair gets underway in HCM City
VOV.VN - The 20th Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo) officially opened on December 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, drawing the participation of than 520 businesses from 20 countries around the world.
This year’s expo features a series of specialised exhibitions, including the International Exhibition of Landscape and Gardening Technology (Garden & Landscape), the International Exhibition of Elevators, Escalators, Technology and Accessories (Vietnam Elevator Expo), the Vietnam International Electronics & Smart Appliances Expo 2022, the International Baby Products & Toys Expo (IBTE), and the International Gifts and Houseware Expo Vietnam (IGHE Vietnam).
Most notably, the Vietnam Elevator Expo attracted more than 20 leading domestic and foreign enterprises, featuring a range of popular names such as Thien Nam and Linvol, along with several famous firms from the Republic of Korean (RoK).
Nguyen Van Nga, deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Authority of Southern Affairs in Ho Chi Minh City, underscored the importance of the event in strengthening trade exchanges and opening up bright prospects ahead for future co-operation among businesses.
The fair also created opportunities for both domestic and international businesses seeking to ramp up trade promotion activities, gain access to the world’s cutting-edge products and technologies, while simultaneously contributing to elevating domestic brands, thereby making contributions to the country's economic development.
