Lawmakers approved the draft revised Penal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code (amended) during their working session in Hanoi on November 27 - the last day of the tenth session of the 13th National Assembly.

National Assembly deputies discussed the draft revised Law on Press and adopted a resolution on the implementation of bailiff institution during their plenary session in Hanoi on November 26. 

(VOV) - On November 25, National Assembly (NA) deputies passed 5 laws, including the revised criminal code, the revised maritime law, the law on temporary custody and detention, the law on referendums, and the law on fees and charges. 

(VOV) -National Assembly (NA) deputies have elected NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung as the Chairman of the National Electoral Council. 

Lawmakers adopted the draft Civil Code (amended) with 86.84% of votes in favour during the ongoing tenth session of the 13th National Assembly in Hanoi on November 24.

The election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels of the 2016-20 tenure will take place on May 22, 2016, which is a Sunday in line with the law.
