Delegates to the 12th National Party Congress have shown their belief that the Congress will democratically discuss and approve appropriate resolutions, and select the next tenure’s Party Central Committee which will lead the country in swift, strong and sustainable development. 

National sovereignty in the East Sea issue, which is drawing much attention from Party members and people, is sacred and the country’s supreme interest, said Hoang Binh Quan, the head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations. 

The documents presented to the 12th National Party Congress were the focus of discussions on the morning of January 23, which was chaired by Politburo member and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, on behalf of the presidium.

Issues relating to social welfare and human resources drew great attention from delegates at the 12th National Party Congress during their working session on January 23.
