Participants in the 12th National Party Congress worked in their delegations on January 24 to appraise the standards and structure of the 12th Party Central Committee and the list of nominations fielded by the 11th Party Central Committee. 

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has been nominated for being re-elected to the country's top post, Central Committee member Vu Trong Kim confirmed in an interview with local media on January 24.
