VOV.VN - On May 9,  an inspection team from the National Electoral Council led by National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan continued their checks and supervision of preparations for the General Election in An Giang province.

Preparations for the upcoming general elections have gone according to plan and on schedule at all central agencies, provinces and cities, the Ministry of Home Affairs reported at a meeting in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong on May 9. 

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc met with voters from the northern port city of Hai Phong on May 7-8.

National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan clarified a number of concerns raised by voters from the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho during their meetings from May 4-7.

National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and other candidates hoping to represent the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho in the 14th parliament met with voters in Cai Rang district on May 5. 

Voters in the central province of Quang Nam will cast their ballots in 49 locations on May 19, three days earlier than the Election Day as approved by the National Election Council.
